JAG ÄLSKAR MIG
”Jag Älskar Mig” is a shortfilm about self-love. It is told from the perspective of my ex-girlfriend who is a polyglot. The languages she speaks are an extension of both her personality and identity. I chose to focus on her arms, a metaphor for this extension of personality and identity. She speaks four languages fluently, Luxembourgish, English, German and French. The subtitles that comes up when she speaks is the expression ”self-love” that she says in the aforementioned languages. A person’s arms, and the movement with them, are essential for body language.
